This summary is here to be read quickly. It is not the agreement — the numbered clauses below are, and they are what binds.

1 What is here
A cookie is a small file this site asks your browser to keep. We also use your browser's local storage in a couple of places, which works the same way for these purposes.

2 The ones we set
- Session: keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it there is no account.
- Region: remembers which shop you are buying in, so prices stay in one currency instead of flickering.
- Theme: remembers whether you chose the day or the night reading mode.
- Cart and wishlist: remembers what you put in the cart before you checked out.
- Reading position: remembers where you stopped.
All of these are strictly necessary or directly requested by you, which is why this site does not throw a consent banner at you.

3 What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking pixels. No data brokers. Nobody is following you off this site.

4 Turning them off
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, and you are entitled to. Be aware that blocking the session cookie signs you out and keeps you out, and blocking the region cookie means prices are guessed afresh on every page.
